We have been very busy with a backlog of language
conversions and FourD upgrades.
The two upgrades you should consider are:
Upgrade to the latest language version – KCML.
We are doing all new sales, upgrades and
development in that language. It gives us tools to use
Windows printers, the Internet to access our
applications form and the ability to add a true “Windows
look” where needed. Trade-in’s of up to 50% have been
offered. If you are interested in upgrading and taking
advantage of the trade in offers, please call Eric for
the status of the trade in programs. There are versions
for existing Speed and FourD users.
Consider upgrading your applications to the latest FourD
version: the System7 accounting
applications with complete transaction history and
unlimited financial history are now available. Existing
FourD users can benefit from the ease of use and Speed
users can consider converting to take advantage of no
“file full” situations and no company stopping post
processes. Remember the Speed applications are great but
they were written in 1978.

Internet Access Almost Anywhere?

Sprint Data Cards you can have Internet access anywhere
you can get a Sprint digital signal. Unlimited usage is
available for only $80 a month. Sprint Data Cards are
faster than dial-up and can be installed in a desktop PC
via an available adapter. Sprint can provide you or your
sales force with simple to use Internet access. You can
use it to connect to your corporate site, check e-mail,
use the web, or if your software supports it, access
your internal applications. The card can be used on
multiple machines so it can be shared. If you are using
dial-up at work to access the Internet, remember that
you are paying probably $20 per month for your Internet
access AND a per minute charge for your office phone.
