New System7 and GUI Update

In the April 2002 Sistem News Jim Palladino discussed
the pending GUI (Graphical) Facelift for TOM-Software
Systems. We are pleased to announce that this product is
released and being enhanced continually. In addition -
Genesistems is happy to announce that TOM-Software
System7 is also nearing completion. This software is a
series of changes centered around the traditional
System5 accounting with many added features to enhance
the ease of use. The first is an enhanced General Ledger
that adds 13 period accounting, unlimited account
history and a new Batch posting method.
This Batch posting is found throughout the System7
design and allows work to be entered and updated by a
user without disturbing ANY other user on the system.
The Batch posting design change leads us to another
requested feature - Transactional Drill Down. You can
start with a G/L account and see all the transactions
that affected that account - ending up at a view of any
transaction as it was entered.

Spring User Conference

Genesistems will be repeating the user conference it
held last fall, currently scheduled for the end of
March–early April. Last fall a number of people could
not make the conference so we would like to hear from
those that want to attend. Then we can pick a time that
everyone can fit into their schedule.

users was very well attended last fall.
